The NBA is racing toward the All-Star break, but we’ve got a few amazing games to get to first. The Lakers travel to Denver for the second time this season, as LeBron and Jokic clash again. The Nuggets are currently in a three-way tie for first in the West alongside Minnesota and Oklahoma City. Meanwhile, the Lakers are in a full-fledged battle for the Play-In spots in the Western Conference. LeBron and company are two games over .500, and have won three games in a row – all out East – against Boron, New York and Charlotte.

Denver have the fourth-best defence in the league, allowing their opposition an average of 110 points-per-game, while scoring an average of 115. The Nuggets are on of the best home teams in the league – with a 21-4 record – behind only the Boston Celtics. They’ve won 7 of their last 10 games, and will now face a tougher stretch, playing the Lakers, Bucks and Kings (twice) in their next four. The Lakers played the Nuggets in the Mile High City on the opening day of the season and lost by twelve. They also got swept by the Nuggets in last season’s Western Conference Finals.

The Lakers will likely lose again versus the reigning champions, who rarely lose at home – while the Lakers are a disappointing 10-17 in away games this season. However, I suspect LeBron and AD will have a good game, which is why I suggest playing Davis to Score over 23.5 (1.70). A riskier move is Jokic to have a triple-double at 2.70, but It’s still a worthwhile move. Overall, I see the Nuggets taking this one home and continuing their climb toward the top of the West. As Lebron and Jokic clash again, who will reign the West tonight? Tune in tonight to find out!
