Newcastle have a slightly more favourable scenario: they need to win their home game and simply hope PSG don’t take all three points in Germany. Either way it will be close to a miracle for either of these two sides to advance. In any case, a Europa League spot is also up for grabs with a win for either side, which is a motivation that should not be underestimated especially for Newcastle.
